... so says Ted Haggard, former anti-homosexual crusader, mega-church pastor and president of National Association of Evangelicals

Quote :
" [Haggard] pretty much asked me if it was OK if he masturbated in front of me or masturbated in the bed next to me," Haas said. "I told him no, it would make me really uncomfortable. But he grabbed a bottle of lotion and started masturbating."

Haas added, "(Haggard) used to say to me, 'You know what, Grant, you can become a man of God, and you can have a little bit of fun on the side.' "

Haggard likened his struggles with his desires [to have sex with men] to the struggles faced by dieters who say, "'I'm not going to eat today' and then they eat."

"I felt like God's plan was for sexuality to be in a monogamous, heterosexual marriage," he said. "I wanted that. But at the same time, I had these other things going on."

His current therapist, he said, described him as "a heterosexual with complications."

Haggard said he has, at least, another year of therapy ahead of him."

Further proof that the most homophobic people are usually gay.

That was the South Park episode basically. Butters gets sent to a Christian camp to cure his bi-curiousness, everyone is assigned an accountabilibuddy.

oh, i didnt go to THAT camp.

the bible camp i went to , the mortal dangers we had to resist was smoking cigarettes and fingerbanging some gal behind the chapel.

but i guess all sins are the same in the eyes of the Lord.

I, too, went to jesus camps as a kid.

Camp Chestnut Ridge, which was supposed to be centered around horseback riding, I think I was allowed to ride once teh rest of the time was spent in prayer circles and other such bullshit.

Also went to Camp Kanata which obviously isn't as jesusy.
