We are sitting here having a discussion and the room is divided on this subject. A gynecologist takes care of a girl's honey pot. Is there a specific doctor who is responsible for prostate and penis related exams?

Regular prostate/wang exams are handled by IM/Family docs. If something is suspicious you get turfed to the urologist. Urology is an almost completely surgical specialty even though they pull a lot of clinic hours. OB/GYN's do both primary care and surgery for women....although I would hesitate to call them surgeons.

^It's actually a pretty sweet specialty. The lifestyle isn't bad for being a surgeon.

yeah, urologists usually make some pretty major bank and it's a fairly easy specialty to get into. there's only SO MUCH there, haha.PCP is one of the most boring specialties you can do. you get paid pretty well, but look forward to a life of giving physicals, telling people they don't need antibiotics 2 days into a cold, prostate exams, and the occasional "something different"

It's not that easy to get into. Any surgical specialty is above average to hard as far as the match is concerned. Not quite plastics hard.........but then again, not much is.

well, yeahi meant "get into" as in "become competent"getting matched somewhere is hard enough by itself, lol
