So the UPS guy just delivered my new laptop and after I signed for it he just stood there like i was supposed to tip him or something. is this unusual?

I tip PIZZA delivery guys

I do NOT tip other delivery guys (furniture, Computer, Milk or otherwise) unless they do somthing extra for it. IE: Set up the computer, move in the furniture w/o scratching it, making me chocolate milk.

i hear from a friend who did this back during the 4.00 gas days of last summer..... of a 1.50 delivery fee, the owner of the place got half, and the driver got half. plus another .75 ot so per run. so each time they leave the store they do automatically make a buck or so, but thats their gas and maintainence money imo

i always tip the guys, i mean they deliver pizzas. even if they got all the delivery charge i'd still tip em. 10 bucks an hour aint shit (im assuming thats what they'd make with tips on a good day, after taxes), imagine if they have kids. BE NICE
