getting rid of dye to get abreu seems like a lateral move at best. seems like this could have been handled better b/c dye know the sox have no interest in holding on to him. could be awkward if he ends up staying. he doesnt seem like the type to carry shit like that, but still...

also, wise, Q and ramirez going 0-11 is no good. plenty of faith in alexei, but with Q missing all that time you wonder how long it will take to get back, wrists can be weird, plus wise/leadoff is prob our #1 question mark

I was thinking about this too... I was "watching" the game on my phone at lunch and though it was bases loaded I saw Dye sandwiched in there between thome and konerko and thought how pathetic that was. Plus pathetic execution.... it feels like the last time we got a bases clearing double/triple Timo Perez was involved.
