my brother has some nasty strain of influenza right now that is apparently going around that has given him the shits for the past 3 days, his 2nd and 6th grade classes are apparently quarantined or some shit.

oh yeah, he teaches english in japan via JET program as well

yeah apparently the flu we have going around right now is some Hong Kong strain.

I kind of wonder if I was the one who brought it to Japan. When I came back from SE Asia in December I was sick as a dog and convinced I had bird flu but they didn't stop me at customs even though I looked horrible
