Jesus. When you say you can deliver a package after 3:00, then attempt delivery at 2:40, then don't deliver the package because there's nobody there to sign for it, that makes me want to strangle you.

I wouldn't mind except that my girlfriend got home less than 10 minutes after they attempted delivery, but they claim they have no way of contacting the driver to tell him to come back. I JUST WANT MY TV, MANG.

I should also mention that the delivery date was originally yesterday, when I had off work, but changed to today for no apparent reason.

if you talk to the right people at fedex, they'll call the driver on his cell phone (assuming he has one)

they like to tell you there's no way to contact the driver though.

but, chances are the driver wouldn't come back anyway. they're on pretty tight schedules. coming back would actually cost them money.

I had it out with UPS a few months back. The postman kept playing ring n run at my door so I went to get it at the office. They told I could pick it up between 6 and 8:30. When I showed up a lil before 7 and they didn't have it. She told me I should have come closer to 8 because it was between 6 and 8:30.

Lulz, the second person I talked to was like "Yeah there is no way in hell they'll redeliver today. We don't do that. Ever." Which is funny, because for my business account they do it once or twice a week.

At my last office, I would have UPS "delivery attempt" notifications on the front door almost every day. Dude, you know we don't open until 9AM, why are you even trying to deliver at 8AM?

@ Sweden - I've had that happen. Guaranteed delivery was something like 3 days after they could have delivered it so they just said fuck it and let it sit around until that day even though it was on the god damn truck.
