I'm about to--getting married in June and I'm taking his name. I started practicing the other day and it is HARD. I write out my full first name, and the "y" flows in to the beginning of my last name ("R") then writing "odg" and the final letters becoming a line.I cannot figure out how to finish Lancaster the same way, or write it quickly. It's frustrating.

I've never had a consistent signatureIts always just some ugly scribble that varies every timeIf I was famous and people wanted my autograph, it would be impossible to tell the real ones from the forged ones

^^As a notary, I have to sign my name the same way everytime or I get in trouble...if I'm rushed it'll look bad and I think "ehh--hope this one doesn't come back to haunt me" [Edited on February 9, 2009 at 2:54 PM. Reason : ]

My current one is too rigid and takes too long, I developed a new one that is continuous and I don't even pick up my pen to completeI signed the back of my bank/cc's though and my drivers license still has the pointy one on itSo ill probly just stick with it

Dude I work with played college ball and still signs his number next his signature on everything, from receipts to multi million dollar contractsPeople ask him what the 34 next to his name is and he lights up and talks about his playing daysI think doing that at all is kind of dumb and non-professional, but I could maybe understand it if you were a prominent athlete that people had heard of But he was a 6th man on a D3 team in Texas in the late 80's...no one around here could care less
2/9/2009 2:59:19 PM
He should be like "my family is unoriginal as fuck"

2/9/2009 8:50:56 PM
^my gf signs it "Shit Head"my signature is a short squiggle and a long squiggle
2/9/2009 8:52:15 PM
yea, i have several signatures depending on the situation. I have my work signature (has to be legible), autog signature, credit card signature (scribble), etc.
2/9/2009 8:52:47 PM
my signature is completely illegible, but i write it exactly the same way every timei guess that comes with signing metric shit tons of things all the time whenever i sign the credit card slip at a restaurant, though, i always draw a picture. last time it was a family out playing with their dog on a sunny day.]
2/9/2009 9:15:00 PM
