I mean if there is a game or if you are getting food with friends, i don't dig bars too much. I prefer clubs and lounges, music and drinks. I am more curious for those who don't go to either of those but always hit the bars up.

I am also posting to maybe make the night a lil interesting.

I was never a bar person, always a club person... but then I moved to Raleigh, where all you have is bars... now in Atlanta I am back to being more of a club person. Bars are fun for games, food, trivia, pool, but not just sitting there staring at people you already know

i don't like clubs. i like music. but i don't like club music (though this might change if i lived in like l.a. or something). i like bars. i like hanging out with my friends, i like games, i like bar food, i just like the atmosphere. i'm just not a club person. i suppose for the same reason you don't like bars. just a personal preference i guess??

The only bar I really like was one In CA that was an authentic Irish pub complete with the drinks to the food. I'd usually hit it up once a week with friends for the beer. I mean i don't hate them but I just get bored really quickly standing around.

i guess that is how i feel in clubs. in bars i'm always hanging out and doing stuff with my friends, talking, playing a game, watching a game, engaging.

in clubs i feel like you are "lounging" which is boring to me or dancing and i don't like that scene around here. all the clubs i've been to in raleigh and in greensboro are trashy. like i said, prob different in a big city.

^ its not even big city... Knoxville is a lot smaller than Raleigh and had a great club scene... but for some reason Raleigh is completely a bar town, not sure why

so that is a problemo. my style just doesn't match.

i listen to hip-hop and i listen to some house (though not a lot) and a lot of electronic music. i don't like cheesy techno music. but i do like electronic music. and i know that gets played in like l.a. clubs but, big city, those clubs are high class, and pricey, i'll probably never make it to that scene.

just my opinion but only people that lounge at the club are usually the creepers. but i still talk to friends, listen to the music, chill by the bar, or dance.

lounges are like bars but just classier, but there isn't a good lounge scene in raleigh.

Bars are just easier to socialize at and get to know people. Really, I think overly noisy bars are kind of pointless but that's just me.

And the best electronic music is def Happy Hardcore.

i think i am just too picky about music and people. and clubs always have a vibe and like what if you don't like the vibe? you can't escape it. and in raleigh if you are at like mosquito and you don't like the vibe you are kind of screwed. all the other wanna be clubs and lounges (like ess) are lame (imo).

i just feel more comfortable in bars. i like how they are versatile. you can dress up for them or dress down. i like that you can go on saturday afternoon and accidentally still be there hanging out with friends on saturday night.

the bars i always go to play good music, have a good environment, and have good drink specials. its the environment that makes you feel like "youre out at the spot on friday/saturday night" its all just an intrinsic feeling of being where the action is at.

oh yeah, and i also like dancin with chicks.

wish there were more places that played techno/electronica/trance music around here. that in my opinion is the true club music. i think that the office stopped playing it and replaced it with 70's/80's/rock

I hate clubs... mainly because I have two left feet when I try and dance. Ithink my girlfriend hates me for that? I always thought someone as athletic as me would be able to dance... not the case.

I really prefer a nice sit down Pub/Bar where I can shoot the shit with friends and drink some good draft beer. Preferably with outside seating (even in the winter -- with heaters/fire pit).

we watched him do it over and over... most girls looked at him like he was a moron but by about the 5th time it fucking WORKED!

i prefer bars to clubs...

i DJ'd at clubs thru college and it was fun/easy, but got old fast. the same beat, same songs, same people just got old... after that gig i went to work at a bar that had a DJ on thursday nights, that was cool, i liked it. not quite as loud, and didnt do that much club music. it got so popular that i started DJ'n there 3 knights a week, but really i was really just a human juke box...

i miss the work and people, but the money just wasnt there.
