"I have to like myself, because no one is comparing me to DeNiro or Pacino anymore".

Seriously....did he outsmart himself, and fall into a huge fucking hole?

Down in the Valley and 25th Hour were good, but other than that, and maybe the one he just dropped with Colin Farrell that bombed, it's been almost a decade without a good Norton flick.

I had no idea he was Baldwin.

Also, he was good in The Hulk.

I wasn't expecting much out of it, and overall yeah maybe not such a great movie, but his performance in it was fantastic. Replace Jessica Biell with someone who knows how to act and it could have been phenomenal. Paul Giamatti ftw.

Two completely different stories. Both worth seeing at least once.

Actually, its good to see both twice. Once you know the twist its good to go back and look for it.

i think Norton needs to be in a movie where he goes from being a two-bit game fixer to a really wealthy subprime mortgage backed securities dealer.

it could be a nittier grittier version of Boiler Room, a 'sign of the times' type of movie. call it "Changing the Game".

there's a lot of underpaid writers out there that could generate a baller screenplay & i'd be happy to do the soundtrack for it.

someone make this happen.

^^^^^^^^^The Score was not good. Norton, Brando, DeNiro, and it tanked? The Hulk was not good. Liv Tyler's best movie was Inventing the Abbotts, and that's because Jennifer Connelly's pre-famous tits were in it. Kingdom of Heaven? He was in it for how many minutes? He readily admitted to walking through The Italian Job.

He needs to be in a few FILMS, not any more MOVIES. He needs to give up his power, submit to someone else's character, and take a few chances.

With Primal Fear, American History X, Fight Club, Rounders, 25th Hour, Down in the Valley, and The Painted Veil, he still needs 4-5 great films to go down as a Top 25 all time actor.

I completely agree, both are great movies even though they sound like the same plot, idea and movie. Didn't they both came out about the same time? I thought that was weird, but I liked the twist in both movies. I might have to rent both of them again and watch sometime on the projector.
