The trash in my office has not been emptied for 3+ days now. It is full of salad containers. I wonder what the deal it. And if you tell me to go empty my own trash I will come to your house personally and give you the frowning of a lifetime.

swap it with someone else's can. then they can call the custodians and you can continue doing nothing.

do you put full drinks in the trash or let the bag fall in and let trash fall at top?

Yeah i'm about to take evasive maneuvers to swap mine with someone elses. I only, for the most part, drink coffee and water while I'm here. For that I have a mug and a nalgene. So no real drink container issues. It's all salad containers, bananna peels, apple cores, and whatever other fruit I eat during the week. My recycling is still fine.

pet peeve of mine... people who think that keeping their office clean has to be outlined in the job description.

find out where some are, and keep a few liners in the bottom of the wastebasket. hell, if you bother to look, there may be some there.

then just take the bag to the nearest larger big trash can. like the custodian closet. and replace the liner

also you shouldn't be throwing gross stuff away in your office. thats just nasty

i hate people that throw food stuff away in office trash cans (although we only have someone once a week, i might not mind as much if it was daily)

Crisis overter. Went with The Dude to do some new fuel inspection and when I returned he had already came by. As you were people.

I used to hate the douchebags where I worked who'd put a full cup of soda in the trash. Have some fucking consideration, it takes maybe ten seconds to walk to the soda machine, pour out your cup into the drain, and throw your cup away. That shit gets heavy over a few hours.

If it's emptied nightly or every other night (like my office) I don't see anything wrong with putting stuff like banana peels or food wrappers in it, as long as it's not something that's going to smell bad within 48 hours. Full drinks are not cool, though.
