The Griffey Jr series was ok, Winning Run for SNES was the best one he had.
I liked Mike Piazza's strike zone better though. 2/12/2009 5:25:09 PM |

I was just about to post Blades of Steel. I loved how they would come out and skate around in circles and you could actually get into fights. I used to love playing NHL 94 on my SNES too. I'm always reminded of that scene from Swingers when I think about that game. Anyone remember Double Dribble?

Super Play Action Football for SNES.
They got all the rights to NFL names and logos, but not to colleges. So the team names are a little off.
State universities look like this: N. Carolina State of N Carolina State of Pennsylvania Georgia
Schools with city and regional names are pretty straight forward: Appalachian Mountains Auburn Princeton
But for the private schools they had to get a little creative: Fluke (Duke) Pale (Yale) Spice (Rice) Windy Belt (Vanderbilt) Pursue (Purdue) Moldy Moss (Brown? It's listed with the other IVs) Two Lanes (Tulane) Standard (Stanford) Smart Mouth (Dartmouth) Runoverya (Colombia) 2/12/2009 9:15:57 PM |

The best shot in that game...always goes in.
Run the length of the court along the out of bounds line (Top or bottom...doesn't matter). Make sure you'll end up behind the 3 point line when you reach the other end of the court. Keep running until you reach the baseline and are about to step out of bounds. Just before you step out of bounds, launch it (but keep running/holding the directional button). You'll jump out of bounds, the ball will come out of your hands 'sideways' and 90% of the time it goes in.
Unstoppable.
That said, Punch Out has to be the best. Probably the best game of all time.2/13/2009 8:59:11 AM |

Charles Barkely's "Shut up and Jam" b/c Sir Charles would yell at you to, "Get the damn ball" every time it went out of bounds. 2/13/2009 11:09:38 AM |
