My sister is a ChaCha guide and makes about that much per week, and she only does it like 2-3 hours a day. She told me that their "Top Guide" makes close to $1k per week, factoring bonuses for being "Top Guide". ChaCha is not hiring right now, but I am currently doing the kgbkgb training. Even when I get back to work, it will be cool to make an extra $200 or so a week.

The problem is it's tricky. You have to get them to let you go without reason. So you can't just decide to stop showing up for work so they'll fire you. You gotta do just enough to get let go, but not enough that they can use it as an excuse to deny unemployment.

But you are black, so you could always threaten a discrimination suit if they don't grant your unemployment.

yeah i filed in a class a lawsuit against my last employer for discrimination in the work place
i was surprised they let me file. the lawsuit happened like 2 weeks after i started working and it was my first job.

yes, ESPECIALLY if you are a student. In fact, even if you get a severance from the job that lays you off, if you can prove that you have enrolled in classes then you can collect. The ESC loves when people take classes. I learned that little tidbit during my 4 hours at the ESC last Friday.
