Ugh... Stupid macs. I thought they would "just work"
90% of the videos I try to watch on youtube are "no longer available" but I can see them just fine on my PC... What am I doing wrong? Doesn't matter if I use firefox or safari... 2/15/2009 10:30:59 PM |

Ok, for instance, the first google link to a youtube video when I search for youtube is "no longer available"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo
Dunno if it can be viewed on a PC or not, since I don't have my laptop with me. 2/15/2009 10:41:49 PM |

Yes... I know, seems to be a problem with my mac. I googled all around on this issue and most forum posts seem to be dated back in '07 or early '08 and most solutions involve the google bar which I don't have 2/15/2009 10:47:01 PM |

I had this problem, and it was because I was using an older version of flash player.
This would happen on Windows too if you had the old flash player.
And if you had spent 5 minutes searching google for "were sorry this video is not available" this solution would have been easy to find. 2/16/2009 12:38:46 AM |

Don't install the latest version of Flash. That is beta. Go to 9.x.
[Edited on February 22, 2009 at 9:57 PM. Reason : Okay, it's not beta anymore, but I found Flash 10 broke a lot of stuff.] 2/22/2009 9:45:18 PM |
