I downloaded the pre-air of this months ago and tried to get through it but I couldn't make it past the first 10 minutes.

Some parts were amazingly funny ("I can throw a ball fast as F***!")

did HBO do much advertising on this? I dont really have a series on HBO that is currently active (FotC, but i usually catch it during the week). I think i saw one preview for Eastbound & Down on a whim a week or so back and was lucky enough to be flipping through my guide sunday night to see it was coming on. But other than that i had never heard of the show anywhere

I learned about it from some very obscure web page's ad, of which I dont even remember. The ad itself looked funny so I remembered the name thinking it was something big but apparently it isn't.

wasn't a bad episode. the premiere is still the best thus far, this one had a little more serious tone. I love every scene with the jetski involved. Its so funny. I can't wait to get on mine the first warm weekend i get and ride around with jorts on.
