1) I see my manager pretty rarely. I'd say once or twice a month, excluding passing by in the hallways....
I think I prefer it this way. Not that I hate the guy. he's really cool actually.....He just doesn't like to micromanage. He's cool with giving you what you need when you ask for it. As long as the work is being done well, he has no reason to come around. How about yourself?

2) I got pretty lazy over the weekend. Didn't shave once. I actually meant to last night, but I just forgot. This morning, I was rushing out of the door because I had an 8am meeting, so I didn't shave either. Now I'm beginning to realize that I look like a goddamned billy goat
This neck beard itches. thoughts? similar experiences?

Discuss.

1.) same boat

i was once out of the office for 6 weeks and he didnt notice, despite being 10 doors down.

we see each other at beginning of year goals time, raise time, and end of year contribution time.

i'm totally cool with that.

2.) same boat

i've got the door mostly closed so i dont get run in on today, kinda disshevled since i slept through the alarm and was in a hurry

1) i think those managers are better, they come to you for the important shit and not when you need to file something different. they let you learn without being over bearing

2) i dont think i've shaved in a week

If I don't shave in three days, I'd look like Grizzly Adams the next morning. Seriously, I'd be like Peter Griffin with a bird living in it.

I shave everyday and have a strong 5 o'clock shadow by 2-3 pm.

2) not related to facial hair, but still - saw a thing on the news this morning - just go in and say youre unemployed and need a cut for an interview. 3 bucks. actually its one of those places that use the straight razor, you might be able to get a shave too!!1

thing is, I rock the goatee thingamajig most of the time.

so it looks good when it's touched up. but baaaaaaaaad when it startes to get unkempt.

I feel somewhat blessed that my mustache connects on the side of my MOUF. I know some guys just can't do it...

haircuts:

you wanna know what's fucked up?! The govt. in my county wants to raise taxes on all luxury items. this includes haircuts, nails, tailored suits, etc....
I'm pissed. But As far as haircuts go with black barber shops, it's a straight cash transaction. prices vary depending on how much your barber likes you. I don't see how they can possibly enforce any extra tax on my haircut.

1) Same way for me usually.. he works from home most days so I almost never see him.. he just emails me what I need to do and pretty much leaves me alone to do it however I want which is nice as shit. I get my shit done so he doesn't bother me.

2) I haven't shaved in a week. I'm starting to get a little stubble.. lol

if i fight through about 2 months of not shaving, i can give the illusion of a decent connection. i've only really tried it once, and i only kept it a couple weeks cause i felt dumb

which says a lot

NY IS fucked up on taxes. I think that my county is under review for tax misappropriation and corruptions actually.

A lot of people that work at Lockheed with me live 10 miles across the PA border just so they won't have to deal with NY's outrageous property taxes.
There's also this brand fucking new neighborhood...built about 2 years ago. The can't sell the houses because no one wants to pay the taxes on that shit.

But oddly enough, there are no taxes on clothes.

i saw on the news that dog the bounty hunter owes 2 million in taxes over 7 years. his IRS agent must have leaked it

but anyways, i had no idea he was making money like that. not tax on 2 million, 2 million in tax.

watch him try to find a loophole by claiming native american islander status or whatever the fuck.

i fucking hate corrupt justice officials. they will all burn in hell eventually, but thats not soon enough for me

I currently have a tiny chin beard. It isn't intentional though, I just can't shave over my stitches.

Also NJ. I never liked paying taxes on clothes in NC. Necessary goods.
