I've done the bypass on it so it will play DVDs while driving. I also have the east and west coast nav discs. The unit performs and functions flawlessly and it's appearance is in like-new condition with no scratches. I bought it brand new from Crutchfield a little over a year ago.

hmmm....i have the D1 (or might be the D2)...bought it back in 2005 but the ipod interface blows and the one in the D3 is so much better! I'll have to think about this...
