We are looking for help with miscellaneous jobs - lot attendant
Duties include:
Cleaning Cars
Light mechanical (Change battery, change tires, etc.)
Must have Valid Driver's License and own transportation to and from work
Help with website presence, i.e. post photos and ads
Run errands
Need Full-time M-F 10am - 6pm
Pay $8.00-$10.00 per hour
We are located 10-15 minutes from Campus near downtown

yeah...and capital blvd. is not a short commute everyday. if you want to pay for travel time cool. this is probably not the best place to look. college kids are not even that poor, and if they are they won't have a car to get to work. try the unemployment office close to your location.

Is being sober a requirement for the job?

If so, you are going to have a hard time filling this position.

Why would someone pay 15 hr for you to clean cars and post pics on the website. That is very reasonable for the work they want. Granted it may not be ideal pay, but plenty of people get paid less and do way more work than what they are asking.

For driving out to Capital, anything less than $10 is not worth it. If a Hispanic took the job for 8/hr you have to realize he may stay will 5 other people so bills and rents are not an issue, and he might no even have a car payment or insurance, since they all might pitch in on one or two vehicles.

mayyybe if you caught all the lights. oh, and during rush hours (morning, lunch, and ESPECIALLY 5pm) expect to triple that amount of time. I used to work off Capital and it took me 45 minutes to get home in the evening because of traffic.
