I am looking for any ideas (unique or not) for web application development. This is mostly for personal practice/study... but I figure while I'm getting back into .NET work... I might continue working on something on the side if I find it worthwhile.

For technical platforms/limitations... I am limited to C#/VB.NET (2.0) and MS SQL/Oracle.

For those wondering why I am "practicing" this stuff... I am kind of getting shifted around at work and I will have the opportunity soon to work on some .NET projects. I primarily work as an Oracle dev... so I was not exactly hired to be a .NET developer. However... I'm happy to work on anything they need so long as I can keep a job in this shitty economy (I work at a bank) and I have done a bit of .NET work in the 1.0 days.

That said... throw me some ideas!
