is actually any good?

The choices:

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Frost/Nixon
Milk
The Reader
Slumdog Millionaire

The only one I've heard of is Benjamin Button and I didn't particularly like it

Everyone I know, from my friends to my parents, has said that Slumdog Millionaire is really, really good. I've also heard good reviews about Milk, no idea about the others.

Seen and liked Benjamin Button, Slumdog Millionaire, and Milk.

Haven't seen the other two.

it's a tradition of mine to wait until after the Oscars to rent all of the Best Picture nominated movies and watch them during a week. I'm looking forward to it...especially Slumdog

Slumdog was an awesome, awesome movie.

Haven't seen any of the others, but I want to see them all except the Reader.

benjamin button was just too long. they could've told that story a lot quicker. and the story wasn't really anything special. it seemed predictable to me. after a while i was just like "finish the damn story already"

Yeah that's how I felt about Benjamin Button too. There was no reason for that movie to have a run time of 166 minutes.

BB was really good, but after around 65% of the movie, it started to slow down immensely.

I want to see the reader.

BB seems dumb so may watch it later.

but seen Slumdog and it was really good. I am familiar with a bit of Indian culture b.c. my mom's family was stationed in India for my grandpa's job for a few years.
