I'm not really down with the touch screen. I like buttons. I wan a streamline phone that will give me access to email, the web, music, whatever else without fucking up. On Verizon is the unlimited data usage worth the extra 15 bucks a month?

just get a curve and be done with it. it'll do everything you need/want it to do and is fairly cheap

I have the touch, it's meh. I bet it'd be cooler if I didn't have to rely on wifi signals....

The Curve supposedly has the best antenna in the market period. I would tend to agree. The 8800 series tosses in streaming video capability.

The 8800 is also smaller, if that matters.

It's between the 8830 World Edition or the 8330 Curve. I like the camera on the 8330 Curve, don't mind it's size

I actually preferred the keyboard on the 88 series, plus the streaming part - but the curve did feel better in my hand.

I like the pink one personally. Sounds like the Curve is the weiner!

Think if I go in a few weeks before my contract is up theyll give me the renewal price?

Bought a storm a couple weeks ago and find it a heck of a lot easier to type on than the curves we have at work. Don't forget that the email/web for a blackberry is $30.

Unlimited data usage is 45, trying to justify that.

Anyone know offhand if a family plan will break the cost a little? I can get a second Curve for free for the boo....

you don't need the $45 one unless you're connecting to exchange at work. Don't let them con you out of the extra money.

Word awesome, is it still considered a a 2yr plan if it's part of a family plan?

TXTMSGING? I know, I added that when I did a preliminary shopping cart. I also have to purchase VZNavigator on a month to month basis. It is a good GPS though, the bf uses the fuck out of his.

I've been using BB Maps and Google maps on the storm and it works great. The 9.99 savings is worth the lack of turn by turn directions.

the curve is awesome.

i have a storm, and i love my storm. i luckily haven't had any issues with it. granted i've only had it for about a month now, so its a newer version, but so far no problems. not getting the random reboots i hear a lot about, or freezing. and haven't had any lag when texting.

i like typing on the storm because the screen actually clicks in when you type, it just feels good, and it has a nice big screen!

but you can't go wrong with the curve either, great phone!

Yay! I want it now!

The bf just told me not to get the Navigator because I'll never use it. Works for me!

I got the Storm 3 weeks ago and love it. I've been having reset issues but any new product is going to have issues at first. Remember the problems the iPhone was having?

I bought an iTouch over the summer and immediately needed to have the iPhone, but I couldn't justify switching to att. I have never had a smart phone before so I'm new to BB and don't mind the occasional glitch. I'm just looking forward to the day Verizon releases a firmware update that will take care of the reset problem.
