I always liked Sanjay. Don't know jack all about his politics, but I've seen him on CNN forever and a day. He always seemed sharp enough, and no more likely to fuck up the Surgeon General post than anyone else.
Oh well, I really don't give a fuck, all he's gonna do is tell me to quit smoking and start eating less red meat. So fuck him and whoever takes his spot. 3/6/2009 2:30:56 AM |

probably merely due to the extensive vetting process
I'll bet they found some political or financial dealings in his past that he (or the Obama administration) doesnt want made public.
... or maybe an illegitimate love-child.

If vetting were his fear, he needn't fear this administration. They've done a pretty piss-poor job. 3/9/2009 8:29:09 AM |

^ I know, right? The vetting of this administration makes the Sarah Palin pick look like it was researched for decades 3/9/2009 8:30:57 AM |

how's that? because Obama actually picks people who are *qualified* for the job and *competent* enough to perform the required duties?
do you really want to revisit the braindead circlejerk that was the Palin nomination?3/9/2009 11:16:20 AM |
