I like the blood orange soda of the Harris Teeter HT Traders? brand.

It's not necessarily fancy, but it's different and delicious.

whole foods has all kinds of wacky sodas, also the kroger on six forks at wake forest.

[Edited on March 9, 2009 at 7:54 PM. Reason : check the "natural foods" section of kroger]

Blood orange soda is good. I've had the Archer Farms brand from Target.

If you're into cane sugar variants of well-known brands, be aware that the glass bottles of sun drop and cheerwine use cane sugar. You can get them at many places, the stands in the indoor portion of the farmers' market being one of them.

I also rather enjoy Dr. Brown's, though they're not very exotic either. Their black cherry is quite good, and their ginger ale is much drier than most, and quite refreshing.

I've posted before that my grandmother is from Blenheim, SC. I've been to see the spring where it all originated and the bottling works. I also grew up drinking the stuff. It is awesome. It is especially good with bourbon.

Try the tamarind flavor.

I had it once on the road trip, and haven't been able to find it since.
It is incredible.

Bottled in Johnson City, TN

You can find it on the outskirts of Boone. At least that's where I know where it is...
