anyone else doing this?

i had it set up to use an iscsi target but the globalsan initiator seemed to be reaaally slow...

i set up a LUN on an HP EVA SAN, presented it to the storage server, created a share, mounted it on the mac, manually created the sparseimage (since time machine apparently hates doing this)... and it magically started working seems to be fairly fast too

anybody tried it over NFS or AFP? i assume it would work exactly the same...

once iscsi support is built into the OS (plz2be in snow leopard), i'll be moving to that.
