I think stuff like that is pretty stupid.

That being said, I have an autographed set list from ¡Forward, Russia! because they're kind of funny.

I have a guitar pick that I caught at some Metallica show when I was younger.

I hate Metallica, so I should just give that shit away to someone who wants it, if I can ever find it.

Seems that the things I'm most fond of when it comes to music memorabilia are in my own head, and those include hanging out with Ben Folds, Brian Wentz (Geologist of Animal Collective) and Ed Droest of Grizzly Bear, the guys from the Broken West, meeting Will Sheff, etc, etc, etc. Sadly, I don't have anything tangible to take away from it, but a few pictures here and there, lol.

Autographed David Thompson photo.

Will Goodyear's old hihats, although this isn't really memorabilia. He just gave me his old ones when he got some new Zildjian K's.

Bunch of setlists, since you all seem to think that qualifies. I also have a bunch of numbered/signed show posters, since that is similar.

Autographed RJD2 vinyl (not Since We Last Spoke, unfortunately )

Bunch of numbered artwork/etc.

First pressing of OK Computer on vinyl from Europe.

A bunch of other trivial shit no one cares about, really. I'll just stop now.

Oh, I was covering some charity event and got Justin Williams to give an autograph for GenghisJohn. The only paper I had was one of my business cards, but it read "Haaaaaaaaaaay John, <3 Justin Williams."

And I know this is not music related whatsoever. I apologize.

Not sure why they wouldn't considering that the title is music autographs/memorabilia.

Guitar pic from a Taproot show in 02 or 03.

i dont think ive cared to get anything in regards to this in a LONG time, i guess the fascination wore of after my teenage years mainly, but for some of HS I was still into this. At my first warped tour when I was 16 or so I got a bunch of cool stuff. Got to hang out with geoff from thursday for a long time, helped him and steve take down their tent and stuff and got steve to take a picture of me with geoff. one of the guys from alkaline trio and chad from NFG were over for a bit too.

the picture was later taken by my fiance to a thursday show a few years later and she got him to sign it and he said he remembered hanging out. thought it was cool at the time and although I dont think I would care to get a signature from a band member anymore, I still have the picture.

edit: actually its in my gallery on tdub, but the back is signed and the scan is just the pic.

I have some rare Misfits records that are autographed. A "Spike Cassidy" DRI guitar pick from around 1999. Some "The Queers" guitar picks circa 1995. I can't think of anything else right now.

I have a ton of stuff that I have managed to snag through the radio station, but the two that jump out are John Popper's harmonica (one of them) from the Cat's Cradle show a few years ago along with the setlist. (was front row center and he put it right in my hand). I also have a cream colored gibson guitar autographed by Live.

As for not autographed type stuff, I have an original copy of Let It Be on Laserdisc that I love. Pretty rare.

I had Method Man autograph his single of "all i need" sharpie on the CD (met him at Pizza Hut in Benson while they were on tour with Rage)

had the damn thing framed and one of stupid roomies decided to take the CD out of the box and he used nail polish remover to take off the double sided tape and that nail polish remover got on the autograph and rubbed it off

i was so fucking mad and still am to this day about it

Bar napkin from Flava Flav.

Incubus' Fungus Amongus CD.

One of my friends just gave me an autographed copy of Ronald Jenkees' album today. It's badass.

I've also got some signed albums by Dismantled, Hangar 18, Yak Ballz and Living Legends.

not that anybody here but me cares about this band, but i had Nick and Nathan from Tera Melos sign the back of the headstock of my bass, along with Frank Black from The Fall of Troy. I also have a drumstick from Tera Melos' original drummer Vince, and a guitar pick from Thomas Erak of TFOT.

i plan on getting Dan Briggs from BTBAM to sign my Alaska bassbook when i go see them in a coupla weeks

I have a badass black and white picture my dad took of Frank Zappa and the mothers of invention playing a show in germany right before he went to vietnam. its one of the only pictures he has left of that time so its pretty neat to me. in the picture zappa's hanging out all over the stage hair flying and screaming into the mic. its sweet.

also have a bunch of autographed albums from well know bluegrass musicians I got backstage at merlefest

and a zach de la rocha autograph on their first album I got when they played the leonard peltier demonstration many years ago in DC.

I guess most of these are special cos thay have good memories attached to them, not really the things themselves.
