I am putting up my 1995 Dinan M3 for sale because i need something a little more practical and with more room since I will be doing A lot of moving in the near future. The car is Alpine white with the Dove gray Vader interior. The car has right around 74,500 miles and a ton of performance and stereo
enhancers. The list is as follows:
*Dinan Powerdyne BD-11a Supercharger
* Rebuilt by superchargerrebuilds.com with ceramic bearings and a kevlar belt around 10,000 miles ago.
*Dinan stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel
*Dinan Hi-Flo Throttle Body
*Dinan Hi-Flo exhaust manifolds
*The stock exhaust manifolds are ported and polished for increased volume and a silky smooth finish
*Dinan Hi-Flo air mass meter
*Dinan performance engine chip
*Dinan larger fuel injectors
*Dinan Front strut bar
*Dinan Rear strut bar
*Dinan Front strut tower brace
*Dinan Performance tuned springs
*UUC System U cat back exhaust
*Bilstein shocks
*Ac Snitcher Short throw shifter w/ ZHP weighted shift knob
*K&N air filter
*Powerflex RTABS
*Ground Control rearshock mounts
*OZ Racing Rims
*Two Jl Audio 12w3v3 subs in custom box
*JL Audio 300/4 amplifier
*Diamond Tweeters
*Dyne Audio 5 1/2 woofers
*Alpine xda-100 Headunit w/ipod direct connect cable
*Alpine bluetooth wireless phone hookup
*Alpine Pdx 1.600 amplifier
*Xm Satelite Radio

The bad: Driver Interior door panel has the classic e36 wear. The driver door has to be shut firmly or it wont close all the way. This can be fixed by working with the hinge and the Interior door panel. Small dent in the roof should be a paint less dent removal. Vader seats show sign of wear, but have no tears or deep cracks, and are a lot better then others I have seen. Also the hood shocks only work when the weather is warm, but this hasnt bothered me enough to replace them.

This car was in a side impact crash but was professionally repaired in Florida and done right. Car drives amazing, and looks great too. The car DOES NOT have a salvaged title.

This car has had the water pump and thermostat housing replaced as well as the RTABS and rear shock mounts replaced. The Guibo has not been replaced but I haven't noticed any problems from it.

If you have any questions or would like any further pictures you can pm me or email me at Psaros.jr@gmail.com

Car is located in Raleigh/Charlotte North Carolina

ASKING PRICE: 16,500 willing to listen to reasonable offers.

I know I have a slightly high asking price, and I do have it posted other places. On bimmerforums people will sometimes get this price if not slightly higher for similar mods and miles. I am willing to entertain any reasonable offer. So if your seriously interested offer me what you think is fair and we can go from there.

am i the only one thinking that this car seems to have the wear of a 200k car?

and while it may not have a salvaged title, was it totaled? titles can be washed, especially in florida.

sounds like you have frame damage as well.

Not much of one. Not an M3, anyway. I agree that I would far rather spend an extra couple thousand and get an E46 M3, but the only one you're going to see advertised for $16k is going to be high mileage and/or a huge mess.

No, he'll get more than that. I don't know if he'll get $16k, but $11k would be a steal.

Look around at what E36 M3s go for. It's pretty ridiculous. I'm not saying that it would be worth his asking price to ME--personally, it wouldn't even be worth the $11k figure to ME (and I love BMWs), but there are people out there who are buying these cars up for huge prices. With the supercharger and such low mileage, I don't think his asking price is far out of line.

The car was never totaled nor was the title washed. I'm at the understanding that the crash was pretty minimal, but I felt i should disclose it anyway. Also there was never any frame damage. I figured posting on tww would only get this result, but I figured I'd give it a shot since that price is not firm and I am willing to listen to offers. If you don't think its worth 16,500 great thats your opinion, offer me what it is worth to you if your seriously interested in the car, and we can go from there.

E36's have dropped a lot over the last couple of years. I've seen a ton of examples going well under $10k. Heck, didn't Ahmet have his listed around $8k for a couple of months before he sold it? I know it was much higher mileage, but most people aren't going to pay more than a few grand more for a low mileage version.

Those Dinan mods weren't cheap. Best bet is to find someone who values the mods and doesn't mind paying a premium for them. Most people don't want a modded car though.

no, actually it's pretty much fact. there is a reasonable range of values that could be labeled as opinions, but 16.5k certainly doesn't count.

furthermore, depending on when the accident/repair occured, i would be concerned as hell about the title having been cleaned up coming out of florida. it was easy as hell to do down there up until the past few years when all the hurricane flood cars prompted changes. fl was one of the biggest offenders in allowing titles to be cleaned up, and guess where a large majority of those cars ended up for resale? nc. if i was in the market for this car, i'd for damn sure want some documented and in depth history.

He never pm'd me and doesn't have the vin so there is no way he could of run a check on the car. I appreciate everyone's opinions, and that is exactly what they are opinions. As i stated earlier, the car has a clear title and may not be worth 16,500 to you guys, but to some people a car like this is worth that or somewhere around there. I have seen cars with similar mods and miles SELL not be asked but SELL for 18,000 recently. Due to the wreck i put it at 16,500 and am still open to reasonable offers. I know how tww works, all y'all do is flame and occasionally something productive gets done. I posted this in case someone was actually interested in a really nice quick car and wanted to make me an offer. I figured it would come to this, but it never hurts to post a car all over the internet when trying to sell it. So thanks again for your opinions.

let's keep the trolling to a minimum ladies.

and don't post inaccurate information (title etc) about the car unless you have proof to back it up

Unfortunately, I have no proof.

why not just post the VIN so that someone can carfax it and post what he finds? that would end the salvage title griping...

^not really. carfax is mostly a useless tool for any serious investigating. it could provide some basic vehicle/registration/title history, but isn't really worth counting on 100% as to if the title has been cleaned or not. carfax is only as good as the information reported to it. i agree though, if he just posts the vin that could eliminate at least some of the speculation.
