Why are some threads redirecting to a myspace page? Is someone messing with html, or is there a particular banner ad doing it?

those posts are all from february. i don't know what the point of him putting those iframes in there was, but i suspect when he first posted it, they didn't redirect. probably a recent change to that myspace page that is now making it redirect

for the posts that are older it wasn't done on purpose - did you even read this thread? there used to not be any redirecting and then the host of the linked material decided a more interesting fix - it seems that only myspace does this currently but i imagine that it will become more common....

it's hard to justify suspending a user for a host changing their policy much after the edit post time has changed - of course that assumes that the user isn't in control of the linked material

Look at the dates before you make accusations.
