Hey, I just got a new laptop and can't connect to my wireless network. My other laptop connects just fine. This one detects the connection and connects with 'limited or no connectivity' and when I try to repair, it fails to renew the ip addresss. Anythoughts? 3/19/2009 8:42:48 PM |

i had this same problem when i got a new router.
did you restart your modem and router? you should always try that first.
my problem was more complicated and i'm not exactly sure how i fixed it, but after an hour and a half of resetting, changing ip addresses of the router, changing security, etc...it finally worked for longer than a min or two.
i still get the same limited or no connectivity occasionally, but i just unplug everything then plug it back in and it works fine.
