I came down with a cold. And this garage cleanup deal is starting to suck.

Anyone need some interior grade 2x4's? I have a stack of probably 10-15 of them that are 6'+ long. They've been outside for a week and may have warped a little from the rain. They'd be good if anyone wants to build some garage shelving or something.

I was just about to go pick up my car from the shop today.

The owner asked if they could keep it for a tech session this weekend (it's a BMW shop, and an awesome one at that). I was like.. man I really wanted to drive it today, beautiful weather and it's been two months!

Then he said they would do a full interior and exterior detail on the car for the tech session... looks like I'm picking it up Saturday afternoon I guess there's at least some silver lining to having a slightly off-the-beaten-path vehicle.

I still can't believe it's been 8 weeks and close to $7k to fix a 1inch crack/chip in the paint. Definitely time to order the rear-view camera.

Spent 4 1/2 hours today giving my car a thorough cleaning: washing, clay bar treatment, another wash, Zaino Fusion treatment with random orbiter (2 coats), 2 coats of Zaino X5 polish, and one coat of polish enhancer. See below for a happy car!
