The lamp is finally going on my trusty Hitachi giant. The picture's gone all blue and fuzzy. With a working lamp the picture on this beast is great, I'd just rather put the money into a new TV than a new lamp. Despite the picture the TV is in great cosmetic condition. This is the first time the lamp has gone out and this TV is pretty old. My dad was the original owner and we've never had any other problems with it. Can't deliver I don't have a truck. $200 takes it.

CRT projectors dont have "lamps".

What colors do you still have? Just blue?

It still shows all colors but everything has a flickering blue tint to it.

There's no bulb in a CRT, so you're probably having problems with the Tube instead. In which case... good luck.

Well then, shit. Thanks for the help in diagnosing. I know it's a fat chance that anyone wants a 200+ pound door stop, but the TV's free for anyone willing to get it out of my house. Any takers?
