I never really saw what was appealing about them. That class has a couple of competitors that will stomp it.

They always got high reviews, although the N/A version wasent as fast in a drag as my 4 seat Polaris.

I'd love to ride a turbo version though.

IMO they're better bang for your buck than other 4-strokes, and if you can drop a few hundred on a Macsboost module you'll add a good deal over power of the motor's entire range.

Personally I'm still a big proponent of 2-stokes though.

Ive got a r-12x. Almost as fast as my gp1300, however it doesn't handle as well. I love the fact that one tank in the honda = 2-2.5 tanks in the yamaha.
