i picked up a 512mb MSI HD4850 (overclocked edition) and put it in...i'm getting a "grid" across my monitor from the very startup, and red lines through everything...i can SEE the screen, but it's got all this crap on it (also, now it's causing my computer to restart before it even gets into windows)
my question is whether or not this is caused by my power supply, if it's not enough...it's a 580w modular hiper HPU-4B580-MS (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?Item=N82E16817128001)...i really haven't kept up and am unsure about the whole rails thing with more power-intensive video cards...here's what newegg has as the output, though:

computer specs:
- ASUS P5E-VM HDMI motherboard - Intel E6750 processor (no overclocking) - 8gb DDR2-800 memory (no overclocking) - 2.5" 300gb 7200rpm hard drive - 3.5" 1tb green drive - PCIe x1 TV combo tuner - 5-port USB PCI card
the HD3650 i had in there before didn't have any problems...did i just get a bad card?

Yea, I have the same PSU, def not the problem. Is the card overheating? 48x0s are definitely known to for running hotter than Satan's toenails.
edit: didn't notice the part about crashing before Windows, no clue then.
