http://www.ShowroomShineNC.com

Just got my website up and running (still needs a little "tweaking") but figured i'd put it up here.

Pricing info is on the site, and there are dozens of pictures to showcase my work.

Contact me if you need any automotive detailing work done right.

Add to your list of things to tweak:
- learn appropriate use of quotation marks

also, learn how to appropriately use layer styles (and when to use them).

tone down the outer glow and the texture, son.

i mean, it looks like you do good work... but your website leaves a bit to be desired

[Edited on April 20, 2009 at 11:12 AM. Reason : oh, lawl, you used a website generator and some text generator for the logo. neeeevermind.]

Yeah, the website was made by a friend of mine. With this economy, I cant afford the thousand dollar website, this was just supposed to be something simple to send my customers to and show em some pics.

Back to the point, this thread isnt about my website, it's about detailing. So if you need any detailing done on your car, truck, boat, airplane, moped or whatever, just give me a call.

^^^^wasn't trying to hate

you don't have to pay $1k for good web design. hell, i'd make you a site in exchange for some detailing work, although i'm not sure if you'd want to do that considering you already have something up, haha.

[Edited on April 20, 2009 at 1:29 PM. Reason : p.s. are you a FF? just saw a bunch of decals and shirts with the maltese cross in your pics]

at the very least

learn to freagin center the links on the page. they're on the left while everything else is centered. looks very weird on a big monitor

^^The links arent centered because of the web layout i've been told, but yeah, they annoy me greatly lol. Also, the "trucks and more" is way to close to the "pricing", they look like one link.

Not a FF, but my entire family is volunteer, so I get free shirts

Overall, i'm happy with the site. Should help bring in some business.

Evan- I may need some help getting my site to show up in some search engines, and a couple more loose odds and ends if my website friend doesnt do that. I'll hit you up.

^ah, nice. yeah, we're all about the shirts. i'd say over half of mine are either EMS or fire shirts, haha.

just shoot me a PM if you want any help.

So... hypothetically say a pepsi exploded due to heat and splashed on the ceiling in the front half of a corolla. Would that be something you could potentially get out? And what approximately would that cost? Also, can you mix between packages? For instance, get everything, including the seats, cleaned on the inside, but just wash/wax on the outside?

That is something that "should" come out fairly easy. I'd have to have pictures or look at it to estimate cost. Yes you can mix packages if you would like, just give me a call and we can talk about what you want.

I think I've seen you on Autotopia when I was getting some info about using using an orbital polisher.

Are you involved in any of the meets? I wanted to go to one to learn how to use all this crap I need/want to buy (my car would likely cost a crap ton to get rid of its myriad scratches).

^^Yeah, I'm the one that puts on and sponsors the meets in NC for Autopia. We have had talks about having one sometime in late July or August, or possibly in the fall in cooler/nicer weather. I'll post up in this thread when we have one.

As long as the job has water/electric available on site, then I will drive almost anywhere. If it further than 10 miles or so from Youngsville, I usually tack on a few bucks for gas, but nothing extreme.
