So a friend of mine spilled water on her MBP, and she's asking me what she should do with it now that she has replaced it with a new unibody MBP... The info she gave me was that it's 15" and it was top-spec'd in terms of screen/video/processor/ram when she bought it Summer 2007. Everything is in great shape other than the logic board, which obviously will need to be replaced.
After doing some digging I figure if I was her and I didn't want to mess with it I'd put it up for sale at $700 obo, but I'm afraid it wouldn't get many bites at that price. If it was ME I'd replace the LB myself or get a friend to do it for way less than the Apple Store, then sell it in working condition (if I could get a LB for cheap enough).
What would you guys sell it for / where would you go with this next if you were her? 4/28/2009 10:41:16 PM |
