The Hurricanes are undefeated in a series 100% of the time when Walker scores a game winning goal in overtime.

Only in North Carolina...

A full BBQ catering setup by the Backyard Bistro handing out sandwiches in the parking lot at RDU at 2:30 AM. I would bet there were 1,500-2,000 people out there tonight. Took a couple photos and videos to post tomorrow.

Order of priorities:

1) Sleep
2) Get tickets for Game 1 tomorrow morning
3) Make Round 3 thread
4) Post pics
5) Plan trip to Pittsburgh

If you had told me at the beginning of March that we'd have a Mo-meter with eight wins on it on May 15th, I would've smacked you in the face.

Way to go, Canes.

the youtube comments on walkers punch video are ridiculous. and the commentators said he should be punished?

FUCKING WARD STARTED SHIT! Ward hit one guy, Walker came in with a bad swing, but made contact, then swung again, while ward just stood there and took it like a bitch.

GOOD TIMES WERE HAD. Feeling the lack of sleep this morning at work after the airport visit last night, but at least I stopped drinking at the end of the game and don't have a hangover.

HOW TO DRINK A KEG IN THE PARKING LOT NEXT SATURDAY?

Oh, how many people have already unsuccessfully tried to make a round 3 thread so far?

Random, but someone needs to make a GIF out of scott walkers celebration at the end of the game like jussi's after he got the winner in overtime earlier. i was cracking up laughing watching walker jump around the ice flailing his arms.

what a great hockey game last night - Hockey doesn't translate well to TV overall but sudden death overtime hockey where one goal ends the game (and in this case the series) definitely translates to TV

How do people see us matching up with the Pens? They are a quick strike type of team with a lot of goal scorers but personally I feel we match up better with them overall than the Bruins. And we have Cam Ward - if he isn't now the best goalie in the NHL, he certainly is one of the top 3.

GO CANES

What time do tickets go on sale for Game 3?

I've heard today at 10 am but I'm not seeing anything on Ticketmaster.

Tripp Tracy was great in that interview with Scott Walker. Scott was pretty damned emotional, and I thought that was just a great exchange.....you can tell that shit with the punch had really been affecting him.

Does anyone know if they'll be doing another College Night during this round? These tickets are getting out of my price range

i think they will for maybe one game, maybe not right away, but after they realize not everyone can afford $80 being the cheapest ticket. they did it for the last home game.

They had college nights last rounds when they were week-day games. I can see them doing it for Game 4.

Ticketmaster has the games up finally.

The bandwagoners are going to come on board and buy some of these tickets, I would be surprised if there's any "College Night" discounts available at this point, but I thought that about the last round too. I'd say no chance in hell for Game 3 next Saturday, people will come out in full force for that one and tailgate all day long. Game 4 is a possibility I suppose.

That being said, I am glad I don't have to worry about acquiring tickets, I just have to wait for them to arrive in the mail. WOOOOOOOO.
