I think there should be a boot camp set up for n00bs. They should be required to do the following things successfully before they obtain a membership to the site.
1) post a pic 2) post a link 3) use bold, italics, underline, strikethrough, code or quote successfully 4) edit a post 5) add a pic
This should take place during the registration process. These are all basic things that are required in daily posting. Without these skills, people are wasting valuable CPU cycles and bandwith. The sooner they learn and the less we have to watch them learn the better.
PS, all current users should be required to take the test (aka place out)
PPS, before anyone says "you have to be a member to post a link and do these things." stfu. It would be a test set up to imitate these activities that they would have to pass.
