I have a basically BRAND NEW Passport 8500 X50 with Blue LED's for sale.

I bought it about 4 months ago and had it in my car for about a month and it's been sitting in my room since. I just dont drive fast in my Accord anymore, and there's no sense in putting it on my motorcycle, lol.

Still have the box and everything...even a second power wire for directly wiring it in to your car.
I think I paid nearly $350+Tax at Best Buy for this thing.

I like mine quite a bit, how is the second power wire different from the normal one that comes with it? You'll probably get a higher bid on CL, ebay is hit or miss on used units.

Second power wire does not have a cigarette adapter. It's used if you want to hardwire it in to your car's 12v system.

I have the red version (blue is a ripoff dude), and will also testify that this is one of the best damn detectors you can buy and well worth it.

have you been able to tell if window tint affects readings/accuracy?

I havent used it enough to really be able to tell, however I only have factory tint as well.

This is my second 8500 X50 that i've owned, and they've both been excellent detectors. I had a red one first, and it was too bright, so I got the blue this time around. I really like the blue and it matches the blue led's on the rest of my dash.
