Ok so I got a D70s but I have practically no idea how to use it. Sure I could read a book, but I'm lazy and all about the instant gratification (america, fuck yeah). Who's interested in teaching me to shoot for monies? Obviously I'm not expecting to walk away an expert, but a good feel for the fundamentals would be nice. I would assume someone familiar with Nikons would be best, but I have no idea. I just don't know about all the settings and when to use em.
PM or post your experience and rate. Thx 5/16/2009 7:57:52 PM |

seriously you're offering to pay someone to teach you this? dude just grab your camera and google four things real quick: aperture, shutter speed, film speed (ISO), and composition/framing guidelines. play with your camera while you're reading and in 30 minutes you'll have a basic working knowledge of how photography works, the rest comes with experimentation. don't take the fun out of learning.
i always enjoy going shooting with someone, hit me or any of the other photographers on tww up and maybe someone will walk around with you and show you the ropes. i shoot nikon, but it doesn't really matter; the basic functions you'll be working with in the beginning are the same across all DSLRs, once you take a second to familiarize yourself with the controls/menus
