One of my friends had an 80's Civic in high school. Shit was a low-draggin-gangsta-wagon with four or five of us piled in it. He ripped the muffler off going over a pothole that was sticking up about 2" above the road (they were about to re-pave). Made the whole back end of the car jump about a foot off the ground when that thing caught. To add insult to injury he had to pick up the hot muffler with his bare hands and put it in the trunk.
