I'm working on a 150cc scooter, and would like to check the compression. I don't do this stuff often enough to justify blowing $25 on my own tester. anyone got one I could borrow?

see, thats the thing. it won't start. I can get it going every once in a while with the throttle open, but it won't idle. I'm in the process of adjusting air/fuel mixture and idle screw to see what I can come up with. Just thought it would be nice to rule out compression. I could pick it up and leave like $20 with you that you can give back when I bring it back. would that work?

not sure if advance rents those out, but its worth a shot

most testers(good ones) cost more than $30
