This looks pretty interesting. Siegal wrote "The Wrestler" and he also used to be editor in chief of "The Onion."

Quote :
""Patton Oswalt plays a 35-year-old parking-garage attendant from Staten Island, and is the self-described "world's biggest New York Giants fan". He lives at home with his mother, spending his off hours calling in to local sports-radio station 760 The Zone, where he rants in support of his beloved team, often against his mysterious on-air rival, Eagles fan Philadelphia Phil. His family berates him for doing nothing with his life, but they don't understand the depth of his love of the Giants or the responsibility his fandom carries.

One night, Paul and his best friend Sal spot Giants star linebacker Quantrell Bishop at a gas station in their neighborhood. They impulsively follow his limo into Manhattan, to a strip club, where they hang in the background, agog at their hero. Paul cautiously decides to approach him, stepping into the rarefied air of football stardom--and things do not go as planned.""

Has a pretty decent looking cast and sounds like it could be good. Its about the Giants so I will definitely watch either way.

Yeah. I bet this movie would be way better if it starred Dane Cook.

actually i think dane cook might be a little better actor than oswalt, both are shitty comedians, and would make me not want to watch the movie, but from what i' can recall seeing oswalt in (blade trinity, reno 911 miami, starsky and hutch), hes a pretty shitty actor

I get upset when I'm watching a comedian that doesn't use the word "beaner" gratuitously.

This seems like it has potential. I like Oswalt, and I love the New York Giants.

It boggles my mind that anyone can find Patton Oswalt unfunny, or that anyone can see Ratatouille and think he's a bad actor.

^ Doesn't really give everything away, just the premise. Seems like it could be good but probably going to be a rental by me. I don't think the trailer made it look that good.

I'm rather excited for this. Siegel and Oswalt were on Fresh Air the other day.

Yay for Taxi Driver/The King of Comedy-influenced films.

Did give away a ton of the movie.

Guy is a big giants fan
Follows his favorite player
Player is a thug and his crew beats him up
guy is conflicted about pressing charges because he loves his team
his brother files a lawsuit on his behalf
dude gets shit from giants fans and his life sucks
finally he becomes an eagles fan
