I'm going to Baltimore for the weekend. What's the best place to eat, have drinks, hang out, etc. Thanks The Wolf Web!

^^

Also, don't buy food at the stadium. They let you bring food & drinks in (except alcohol)

there are others who live in bmore but i live in dc and have a brother on federal hill so i go up quite a bit

my bar recommendations - anything on cross really...mothers, mcgerks etc that whole bar area on fed hill is fine and pretty indistinguishable

i love porters, they have old bay chicken wings that i will kill your mother for. its on riverside

a while back sober46an3 recommended lp steamers...its a little out of the way but its awesome for crab, and not touristy like the harbor.

Fells Point and Fed Hill are good places to eat/drink. The Inner Harbor has touristy shopping and stuff like that; the Power Plant is a decent place to party. O's are out of town this weekend so that's not an option. Mt. Vernon, up in the midtown area, has some decent places to go--Brewer's Art is one of my favorite local bars.

You won't get shot in any of those areas. Stay out of west Baltimore (west of MLK) and east Baltimore (around the Hopkins medical center). Nothing to see in those places anyway.

Phillip's is decent food, but it's really meant for tourists. If you're going to pay those prices, you might as well go to the Scupper or even to Oceanaire.

I've never paid a toll here--the tolls are for people on the highway who are going past the city to take the tunnel. If you come up on 95 and go directly into the city via 395/MLK, you won't pay anything.

sorry, thought this was the Lounge

also, for cheap food, Lexington Market is awesome. You can get crack and heroin there too, depends on what you're looking for.

Dont't go to Rusty Scupper, food is alright but not worth the price. Da Mimmo in Little Italy is unbelievable, somewhat expensive, but worth it for sure. Mary Ann is the owner and makes you feel right at home. Famous people all over the walls in the bar area. Fells Point has some nice breakfast joints if you are staying near there.

do yourself a favor and stay away from the power plant, it's ultra touristy and i don't think it really represents baltimore at all. fed hill has lots of good bars and some good restaurants (dog pub for pizza and beer is a favorite). fells point has a lot of good bars as well and little italy has some great restaurants. if it's a sunday, you can't go wrong with bay cafe in canton. fort mchenry, at the end of locust point, is worth visiting. if the orioles are playing, you can't go wrong with beers at pickles, sausages from the street venders, then enjoying the game. buy the cheap tix and sit wherever you please, for the most part. if you're feeling adventurous, head over to hollins market and eat at baltimore pho, one of the best vietnamese places in the city.

been to fed hill like 6 times. its where all of the young professionals from baltimore go to get drunk. tons of hot chicks. Pub dog has the best pale ale called hoppy dog. fucking awesome beer. also their bbq chicken pizza is worth dying for.

canton square is a fun place to go drink too. it is in canton and not close to fed hill. only like a 15 dollar cab ride though. i wish i was heading up there this weekend. where are you staying?

Someone tell me where to park. My brother has a car so he can pick me up whereever. Is there like a good hotel or somewhere I can park for free?

Downtown parking is like $25 a day so out of the question. Thanks for the help.
