Wondering if there is anywhere at Walnut Creek after concerts that cabs gather or is it better to just prearrange one? Or will any of the companies even pick up from out there after shows?

I took one from there once. Of course, it was an Aerosmith concert in 1993.

From what I remember, there is a long line of cabs outside of the concert when you leave.

But I don't ever remember much. Wish I was more help.

why wouldn't they pick up from there? But i wouldn't count on cabs being there. I say that b/c most people drive to and from concerts in groups. It's not like the airport, or glenwood at 2am where you're almost guaranteed to get fare. But, who knows.

Best thing to do is probably just save a couple of cab numbers in your phone. Then call when the show starts wrapping up. By the time you get to the street, they'll probably be close by.

yeah, there is always a handful of cabs in the parking lots closest to the main entrance.

i would try a transportation company (touba for example) and find out how much they would charge. agree on a rate ahead of time. typically they can be cheaper with flat fares from a location as they arent as monitored as cabs are
