I have a ton of laundry to get through today and wanted to take it someplace to get it done in one shot. Anyplace with a low concentration of permanent residents and/or drug deals is preferred.

And if you suggest the dorms, you'd better be volunteering to come along and make excuses for why my old sorry ass is in there.

place on west morgan, right after the hillsborough/west morgan split, on your right. might look shady, but i did laundry there once after dark and it's fine. PLUS it's next to the burger hut, and i have no idea what their hours are, but it could be open!

ah hah. I had some shop rags and stuff I wanted to clean and didn't want to run through my washer and dryer. So I went to a laundromat in Holly Springs (where I lived at the time) in the middle of the day specifically for the sketch factor. I put them in the wash and read while they were washing and then tossed them in the dryer and went for some lunch. I was alone the whole time I was there.

When I came back, this obviously poor somewhat large lady was just kinda ambling around the place. My rags had a few minutes so I read. When they were finished I started folding them. After about 30 seconds she comes over to me, a bit closer in my personal space than I was comfortable with and offered to fold them for $1.50. I declined and she said, how bout 75 cents, I'm just tryna get a sandwich up in here. I actually said I'd give you some change for a sandwich but I actually have none. I could see her out of the corner of my eye as she was staring at me for about 4 seconds when she goes

I'll suck your dick for $5 I'm just tryna eat is all I'm hungry man.

WTF

I again declined and she kinda stomped out of the laundromat and was just sitting in her car listening to the radio when I left.

sketch sketch sketch

Still an alright place. If you want to be an uptight middle-class dude, then go to the one in Cameron Village. If you want to be cool and use the big economical machines while turning down bums asking for money, then do this one on Western

LMAO, Fail Boat! Sure you didn't come up with the $5?

Went to the one on West Morgan - tdub delivered again. Not busy, piled everything into four washers, out in 2.5 hours. I'd still be washing and the well would be dry if I'd tried that at home. Thanks amazon and everyone else who replied.
