apple store said i'd probably need to boot into safe mode and perform some registry edits to get the thing working again

i asked for a refund but i think ill just sell it closer to when windows 7 comes out, then i'll get the ORIGINAL operating system...not this overpriced gimmick

Just kidding, it's Squiggle + D for disk (I think), Squiggle + C for CD, Squiggle P+R for cleaning rom.

I think. But go hit him in liver anyway for good measure. Freaking despise working on the Mac's at work. 4 Processors and 3 Gigs of RAM should not take 6 hours for a 45 minute DVD. Particularly if the processor only runs at 40% the whole time. Let's get with the freaking program Final Cut HD.
