What's the best recommendation out there? I'm new to this, but if I have a TWC HD box and I want to record say a football game to keep in HD onto a DVD-R, what's the best recommendation you guys got? Also, would there be any damage to put a PS3 on a floor speaker to either the PS3 or speaker, thanks in advance

Excessive vibration could damage the PS3s HDD, but it's not likely unless you're pumping out some serious volume.

^ Thanks, I also had an issue this morning, I'm setting up floor speakers for my Vizio, and I don't have my receiver hooked up yet, but when I turned my Vizio on this morning, sound was fine, picture was all pink, so I took the coax into the TWC box and went straight to the Vizio with it and looked at basic cable, picture was fine, then, coax back to the TWC box, still pink, so I just rebooted the TWC box and the picture was fine, and the only thing I could think of was that my floor speakers were to close to my tv, which they are, but they're not hooked up, I thought my speakers were shielded, but I don't know too much about it to say for certain either way.

unless you have really really weird taste in tv save your money. use torrents to dl the stuff you want to keep and stream it to your ps3.
