the torrent of logic is impressive. accusations and sworn statements don't mean a goddamn thing until someone is found guilty in a court of law. your kangaroo court of public opinion is cute, but no substitute.

and paying a settlement doesn't denote anything about innocence or guilt. it's a financial transaction, based on paying out the least amount of money possible. lawyers in high-profile court cases aren't cheap, and settlements can be significantly less costly than paying for months of representation.
