So my landlord found out about my cats and is threatening to evict me if I don't get rid of them Yes, I know, my fault, blah blah but we managed to keep them for almost three years without any issues.

Anyway, the catch is these cats will be coming from Japan. I am coming home in September for a few weeks so I could bring them with me on the flight. They're both spayed and will be current on their shots to get through customs. But you might have to meet me at the airport to pick them up.

I'm currently trying to find a home for them here in Japan but pet stuff is shady as hell in this country. Nobody wants a "used" pet and there are no animal shelters outside of Tokyo, and even then the animal is held for 24 hours and then euthanized If I can't find someone here willing to take them in, is there a kind soul in Raleigh that will help my kitties?

For now it's adoption since I'm not sure where in the States we'll be moving to when we return. I don't think it would be fair to make them do plane rides twice if we end up moving to the West Coast.
