I'm moving to Kazakhstan in mid-August to serve in the Peace Corps until the end of 2011. My lease ends around the beginning of August, so I'm without a place to live for about 2 weeks. I've got friends who would let me stay with them, but it'd be nice to have a room of my own instead of organizing two weeks worth of couch-crashing.

Anybody know of anything?

my brother and i both have houses with empty rooms. you would prob have a better bet movin in with him though so you dont have to move up a flight of steps. how much are you looking to spend?

I'll probably be rid of all my stuff by then. I'll have a mattress and a room to sleep in; that should do for two weeks. I probably won't be making use of a whole lot of the house other than a place to sleep and maybe internet, so I'd hope to pay no more than $150 bucks or so for half a month. Let me know what you or your brother would want.

If anyone else has a room, let me know what you're looking as far as rent goes.
