the krystal in my hometown was only open for a couple of months

they built it, it sucked horribly and employed every burnt out coke/meth head that i knew, it closed/boarded up a few months later, and within a year or so of being built it was torn down and a bank was built in its place

Domestically, our restaurants and market expansion are financed from retained earnings. I do not believe this.

However, I've never had White Castle, so it would be cool if it happened.

However, I don't know if it's necessary to have a McD's, Wendy's, Bojo's, KFC, Cookout, Taco Bell, AND a White Castle in one block. Fast food district, much?

However, choice is nice sometimes when you're in the mood to clog some arteries.

I had White Castle on the way back from Memphis a couple months ago. It was ok. Isn't Krystal just as good though?

If you get those frozen burgers and you jury-rig a broiling pan with aluminum foil so that you can steam cook them, the taste is closer to what you would be used to.

That was me about a year ago. I finally decided to try some WC food. It was by far the worst burger I had in my life. I couldn't even get the taste out of my mouth. I can only assume that it is an acquired taste that is developed in youth.

I don't know if I ended up going to an unusually bad location or what, but it was nasty. I don't like pickles and I don't throw out/waste food, so to help I left the pickles on the last 3 sliders to help mask the taste. It wasn't enough.

That smell/taste lasted with me for days. Worst 'burger' I ever ate.



What you see is a thin slice of something orange.
Meat the thickness of a quarter.
And slime that has tainted the bread, also about the thickness of a quarter.

If you value your taste buds at all, and for some reason must eat a slider anyway - ask them to hold the onions. They'll just make the bread soggy and make that taste linger in your mouth an extra day or two.

I suspect that if white castle patrons had just a [i]taste[/] of Cookout, the demand for that franchise/expansion would be much much higher.

I can understand WC haters--it's cheap subpar food, but I don't understand the In and Out haters...that shit just looks like it would be so so delicious.
