i contacted the company and they sent me a couple of free samples of the chip in question, so i have the replacements...i realize it's not especially difficult, but i have neither the tools nor the expertise, so let me know if you can do it and how much you'd charge

i have an smd workstation. do you have any details on the size of the chip? need to see if i have/can find a tip that will work
